2011 Great Wall Hover H5, TAP-01

Good day,

I have Great wall Hover H5, year of manufacture 2011, 4G69S4N engine code, petrol od 2,4 litre.
Of course powered by LPG, STAG QBox Next plus and TAP-01.

I need help and advice how to tune TAP-01. Right now is set with +9 degrees value in range 1000-4000 RPM. In range 4000+ value is set to 0, since that was a recommendation from Russian Great Wall forum.

But, when going uphill on LPG I hear valves knocking.

Can you please tell what is proper way for adjusting TAP-01, or maybe you can send me directly file to insert in TAP controller?

Hello

9 degrees is way to far ...

Use max 6`degrees just over the idel rpm lower it down to 3 arund max rpm.

For IDLE keep close to 0 degree, for middle load 2-4 degree, for max load 6-9 degree. This is calculated as 20 to 30% of the actual ignition angle.

Thank you, I did as you both said. I started with +3 degrees at low rpm, than up to +6 degrees at 3500 rpm, and than down to +3 at 4200 rpm.

Tell me please, what could be consequnces of bad spark ignition timings?

Is it maybe, more appropriate (reliable) way to leave, for instance +2 degrees in entire rpm range 1200-4200 rpm?

Too long ignition timing will reduce engine power. it can also cause greater heating of the cylinder walls. You can set +3 degrees on full range rpm.

Thank you, one more question please.

Does rubber gas hoses from the injectors to intake manifold should be all the same lenght (AC W02)?
My installer made first and fourth same lenght, and second and third hose same but twice as shorter then previous ones.

He said that ECU (QNext plus) has abbility to precisly set every injector individually and "correct" different hoses lenght. Is that true or I should tell him to make them all even?

How big is the difference in length or what is the length of the rubber hoses?
BTW.
Witam Pana Marcina, wysłałem maila oraz PW jakiś czas temu. Czyżby nie dotarły czy jestem zbyt szybki ?

First and foruth hose are around 15 cm long.
Second and third (in the middle) are aroound 8 cm.

I wanted to try what will happen if I turn off TAP-01. After that, car starts jerking in any gear and speed so it was really very, very difficult to drive. When I turn on TAP everething is fine. What could be the reason? Is it maybe bacause calibration and autoadaptation was done with TAP on? Maybe it should be turned off while calibration and autoadaptation, and turned on later?

There is too much difference in length. 15 and 12 is acceptable. Maybe its better to change to single injectors and shorten the pipes?
Use a 5mm diameter pipe. 6mm at 15cm is too big because the engine will have a worse response to the quick addition of acceleration
Back to TAP. In my opinion it is unnecessary for LPG. There are more problems than good with its use.
There was a time when I used TAP 01 and 03, however, I gave up because in my opinion it gave nothing.
